Lou’s Closet is a designer and second hand clothing sale raising funds for Lou’s Place.
Lou’s Place is a day time drop-in centre for women in crisis in Redfern. Most of the women who visit have experienced multiple traumas with the majority facing issues of homelessness, domestic violence, mental health and drug and alcohol abuse.
For the past 15 years the Lou’s Closet sale has been our biggest annual fundraiser. The sale of good quality new and second hand clothes has raised over $1m to support vulnerable women. We hope that 2026 will be an even bigger year for us at The Tramsheds venue. For three days we are offering a beautiful selection of new and preloved women's clothing at bargain prices, with jackets, dresses, skirts and shirts starting at just $20.
