Saturday 23 August from 10am to 1pm
Come and join Life Drawing Studio to learn and practice how to draw the human body from life, investigating form, line, and expression through a variety of media and techniques.
You will receive teaching and support from a practising artist, working with a professional life model to develop your drawing skills and better understand how to represent the human form in your artwork.
Our life drawing studio sessions will be held at our Rozelle studio – a place to keep learning and practising your life drawing skills in a friendly environment among other artists.
With each session, you will build on your drawing skills, train your eye to record quickly and efficiently what you see and practice how to draw your expression and personal view of the subject.
This life drawing studio is designed for all levels, but some drawing experience will be an advantage.
Life drawing is a time-honoured way to learn to “see” as an artist and improve your drawing ability.
By the end of this life drawing studio class, you should have:
An understanding of proportions of the figure
