When

Thursday 8 August 2024 from 10am to 3:30pm

Following on from the release of our guides: A Guide to Hosting LGBTQ+ Events Safely for local councils in NSW and a companion guide for LGBTQ+ event organisers, ACON has continued a program of work to respond to a rise in hate incidents and crimes against LGBTQ+ communities. In partnership with the City of Sydney, we are running an in-person LGBTQ+ Safety workshop for community workers.

This workshop will run from 10am to 3:30pm on Thursday 8 August 2024. The goal of this workshop is to bring community workers together to connect and discuss LGBTQ+ safety, share resources and discuss responses to hate. If you are not a community worker, please register for the community member workshop on Saturday 10 August 2024
