La Hija de Pedro: Meet the author Paula Ajuria

When

Wednesday 9 April from 5pm to 6pm

As part of the International Book Day celebrations, we invite you to a special meeting with author Paula Ajuria, who will discuss her novel La hija de Pedro. Set between Spain and Australia, this work explores themes of identity and self-awareness. Its innovative narrative style has caught the attention of Manuel Alberca, the great literary critic and expert in autofiction, who has referred to La hija de Pedro as an "autobiographical thriller".

Pedro J. Plaza, the director of El Toro Celeste, the publishing house behind the book, will join the conversation online from Spain. Enjoy this unique opportunity to gain insight into the author's creative process and the nuances of a story that crosses borders.

Those who want to read the book before the presentation are invited to borrow La hija de Pedro from our library.

The event will be held in Spanish, but Paula Ajuria, who is bilingual, will provide brief translations into English if needed. Don't miss this chance to celebrate literature with us!
