Jazz Upstairs featuring Sheket

When

Wednesday 24 April from 6pm to 7pm

Cost

Adult: $20Concession: $10

Sheket is a new trio from saxophonist and composer Ben Lerner, featuring the creative forces of Hilary Geddes and Laurence Pike. Having moved to Sydney from New Zealand in 2020, Lerner has established himself as one of the leading young voices on the saxophone in Australia.

Sheket is a new project, exploring simple vamps and melodies in a bass-less trio format. Calling back to folk-like songs, the music explores themes of hope and grief.

Come to the beautiful surrounds of St Stephen's Uniting Church, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or two and enjoy a wonderful night of jazz.
