Manson Luk is a Sydney based drummer from Hong Kong, who has established himself as an accomplished musician, leading and participates in numerous Sydney based musical projects, including jazz group ZODIAC.

He is a former recipient of the St Stephen's Jazz Scholarship (2024) and an alumni of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he studied under the mentorship of Dr Simon Barker, Dr Kevin Hunt and many others. As a bandleader and composer, Manson released his debut album "The Wild Wild East" with ZODIAC in 2024 under commission by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), and has recently returned from a 2025 tour to Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan (Supported by Sound NSW).

In this month's series of Jazz Behind the Green Door, he will be joined by friends Jordan Chung (piano), Dave Quinn (double bass) and Miles Rooney (trumpet).
