Would you like to draw the human figure but don't know where (or how) to start? Do you hope to join our life drawing sessions, but want to learn some skills first? Our friendly, experienced teacher Anne is here to help.
Over four weeks this introductory course will give you the basic skills you need to start life drawing. Learn in a fun and relaxed environment, in a small group where you will get lots of support. Topics covered including using line and gesture; capturing form, movement, force and weight; the use of tone; basic anatomy; the importance of angles and proportion; and conquering the mysteries of perspective.
Anne Kwasner is a multi-disciplinary artist who works in clay, paper and anything she can get her hands on. Drawing is her thing. Anne has been teaching drawing for over 17 years in a variety of settings, including university. She enjoys teaching people to access their creative selves and have fun whilst doing it. Under her guidance you will learn some basic skills to help you become more confident in drawing the figure.
Anne completed her Masters in Ceramics the National Art School in Sydney 2019.
