International Women's Day with Zoe K | Yasmina | DJ Oroana

Every day should be INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY. But lets make it official by showing our appreciation for the some of your favourite local artists.

The Zoe K Whole Experience - Recently relocated from her time spent performing in New Orleans, Zoe K is a fresh addition to the Sydney music scene with a remarkable voice that pays tribute to the bygone greats of soul, jazz and blues. With an album recorded and produced with some of New Orleans’s greatest mainstays, Zoe K’s new offering received reviews such as “a welcomed dose of old school substance and style in an often manufactured, musical landscape”. Zoe K has also performed alongside and supported artists such as Kermit Ruffin, Jon Cleary, Imelda May, Renee Geyer, Linda and Vika Bull and has played at festivals both national and international (Woodford, Strawberry Fields, New Orleans French Quarter Festival, Treme Festival) . The Zoe K Whole Experience consists of her compositions from her recently released album, improv, JAZZ, SOUL, sass and crass.

Yasmina Sadiki is an emerging Sydney based independent artist pioneering a fresh look into the possibilities of Jazz and Neo-Soul through her passion for the art. Over the years she has connected with many producers, artists and musicians from Canterbury and beyond. Yasmina aspires to challenge the scene with a raw but poetic window into her life. Her insightful lyrical expression and nuanced vocal technique whisking us away into her world.
