Intermediate Minecraft Coding (Ages 7-12)

This workshop is suitable for participants who have completed our Minecraft: Build Smarter with Code workshop.

In this workshop, young participants will be guided through a series of coding challenges within the _Minecraft _world, using Microsoft MakeCode block coding to control their agent and make changes to the world.

This workshop uses Minecraft Education Edition, a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. Participants will be provided with computers for the workshop to develop their computer literacy with keyboard and mouse skills. The Minecraft world offered to the class is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse.

This workshop is suitable for participants who have completed our Minecraft: Build Smarter with Code workshop. Please bring your own hat, lunch and snacks.
