Come along to a fun and meaningful night where your story matters. This is an interactive event where you both listen and hear others share their amazing stories of journey and migration and you get to learn how to tell your story.
The evening will be facilitated by Samah Shda, from Unbound stories, who came to Australia as a asylum seeker from Iraq via Turkey. A live performance, incorporating acting and singing of Samah’s story and other audience members stories will take place after the writing workshop in groups.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact our community worker on 02 9265 9133 or email blaryea@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
