Inner West Film Festival
Every day, 6pm to 10pm Friday 31 March 2023 to Sunday 2 April 2023
The inaugural Inner West Film Fest, themed this year as ‘Once Upon a Time at the Inner West Film Fest’ with iconic Inner West venues such as Palace Cinemas Leichhardt and Dendy Cinemas Newtown hosting over 15 special events.
The programme is filled with Australian and world premieres, docos, short films, recent international film festival favourites, local productions and a big free community event. The festival will also be supported by satellite events including an art exhibition, filmmakers’ talks, pitching competition, musical performances and 'Secret Cinema'.
The festival kicks off at Marrickville Golf Club with a free community screening, and the Sydney premiere, of Indigenous coming-of-age story, Sweet As: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1O6hqEKHT1s
