The Inner Mongolian Cultural Troupe is bringing their mesmerizing performance to Sydney, a vibrant showcase of traditional dance, soulful long songs, entrancing throat singing (khuumei), and the iconic sound of the horse-head fiddle (morin khuur).

With a dynamic fusion of Inner Mongolian instruments such as the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle) and tovshuur (plucked lute) alongside classic Chinese traditional instruments, the performance transports the audience to the vast grasslands, where music and movement intertwine to tell stories of history, nature, and life.

Through soul-stirring melodies, powerful drum rhythms, and graceful dance sequences inspired by the nomadic spirit, this unique showcase captures the essence of Inner Mongolia’s culture while embracing the broader traditions of Chinese performing arts.
