Saturday 19 September 2020 from 12pm to 2pm
Delivered by Artistic Director Shaun Parker and hip-hop dance artist Libby Montilla, this practical workshop aims to empower teachers of dance and drama and future teachers with a tool-kit of tasks, exercises and processes that can be used in their own teaching and creative work.
Participants will explore the process behind the creation of IN THE ZONE, Shaun Parker & Company’s new work for young audiences aged 8 to 18 years. The workshop provides an opportunity to experiment with interactive digital music with AirSticks technology, insights from the creators about the inspirations of the work, and an introduction to the fun, creative curriculum-linked activities which are provided in our IN THE ZONE Education Resource.
A Zoom link and password will be sent to participants 24 hours before the workshop begins.
