Interactive, fun, supportive – take your improv theatre to the next level!

Expand your improvisation skills with this intermediate course from the Sydney Comedy School.

This course is for you if you'd like to gain experience and have side-coaching from your teacher to compliment and improve your style and humour.

At the end of this 4-week course, you will perform a graduation show!

This course at our bespoke comedy venue in Surry Hills is for those who have already completed an introduction course at an improv school.

If this is your first time in improv, please check out our beginner's course first or come to our weekly drop-in classes.

  • Join us for a deep dive into creating stories on the spot.

  • No scripts, no pressure – just nonstop laughs with improv theatre!

After class we catch up over food and drinks at a nearby bar!

  • Availability is limited.

  • Class size is capped at 12 people.

Content:

Characters, exploring and advancing a scene, points of view, long-form improvisation techniques and more...!

Timings:

1:30pm - 4pm: Class (sessions will run for four weeks at the same time that is listed in the ticket).

4pm - onwards: Optional lunch and drinks with the class

Improv can help you to be more charismatic and confident socially and professionally! It will deepen your skills in being able to think more quickly on your feet, improve your public speaking, and help you to be a better communicator in a range of settings. Plus it's a lot of fun!
