Based on Australian author Alison Lester’s bestselling book, Imagine Live is a beautiful and interactive performance exploring themes around creativity, friendship and the natural world, inspiring audiences to see the world around them in new and surprising ways. At its heart, the show reminds us that creativity is a muscle that loves to be stretched – it helps us to become smart and resilient human beings, and we need this now more than ever.

The show centres on a long-distance video call between a granddaughter and grandmother enjoying a nostalgic connection through their favourite book, Imagine. Featuring a stunning original musical score and oversized props, the performers play and sing through the pages, while digital puppetry allows the illustrations to travel seamlessly between real and animated worlds.

Imagine Live is a celebration of the profound transformative power of creativity. It encourages young audiences to dream themselves out into the world and see themselves as part of a vast connected space.
