This July, the Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC) will embark on an exhilarating tour to Australia and an inaugural visit to New Zealand. HKCC Music Director and Principal Conductor Kathy Fok, along with the champion of the Hong Kong Choral Conducting Competition Apollo Wong, will lead HKCC members in presenting a meticulously curated repertoire to overseas audiences.

HKCC will first visit Tasmania, to perform as the guest choir at the “20th Festival of Voices”, then head to Sydney to host a charity concert at Sydney Town Hall, continuing the mission to raise funds for CanRevive and cancer patients as they did in 2017. HKCC will then travel to Auckland to host the “Dreams to Dream” concert and perform at the “Echoes of Culture” Choral Concert, engaging in musical exchanges with ensembles from around the world.

The HKCC Charity Concert will feature an exquisite selection of Hong Kong compositions and highlighted pieces. Don’t miss this chance to join HKCC in their high-calibre musical journey for a good cause.

About The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC)

The Hong Kong Children’s Choir, founded in 1969, is the first and largest children’s choir in Hong Kong with around 5,000 members. As a non-profit charitable organization, HKCC has grown into a diversified arts entity. HKCC is renowned for its international performances, spreading messages of love and peace worldwide.

The choir has been warmly received in countries across Asia, Europe, America, and Australia, earning the titles of “Little Goodwill Singing Ambassadors” and “one of the best children’s choirs in the world.” HKCC was named “China’s Top Ten Children Chorus” and served as an Ambassador of the International Federation for Choral Music from 2013 to 2015. HKCC has performed globally at prestigious venues and festivals and collaborates with world-renowned musicians and arts organizations.

As the children's choir best representing Hong Kong, HKCC has participated in significant events such as the Hong Kong Handover Ceremony and the Hong Kong Disneyland Grand Opening. HKCC actively participates in charitable events, organizing fundraising concerts for various causes. HKCC continues to organize numerous concerts annually, allowing members to share their love for the arts with the community and the world.
