Thursday 4 May from 4:30pm to 8pm
Join us for an evening of history and storytelling at the Sydney Jewish Museum, with a special screening of Estelle Rozinski’s film, The Edge of Light.
The film follows Dariusz Popiela, an Olympic athlete and world championship medalist, as he and a group of young Polish students work to restore old, forgotten Jewish cemeteries to honour the memory of those murdered in the Holocaust and whose Jewish tombstones were damaged or destroyed. There will be a Q&A led by filmmaker Estelle Rozinski following the screening.
Your ticket includes a guided tour of the museum, a film screening, as well as complementary nibbles, beverages and music. It also gives you free access to all of our exhibitions, including our current high-tech Holocaust survivor testimony exhibition, Reverberations: A future for memory.
Arrive from 4.30pm to enjoy food and drinks, and to explore the Museum space before the film is shown at 6pm. The Museum will close at 8pm.
