"They’re here…"

Experience the most chilling line uttered in cinematic history in a terrifying setting with this late-night screening of 1982 horror classic Poltergeist. Presented by Australia’s leading immersive horror brand Haus of Horror, step into the resurrected Sydney Burial Ground, where the boundary between film and reality blur in frightfully fun ways.

This historic burial ground is right in the heart of Sydney Town Hall and will be revived to its former eerie glory with a special immersive, ghostly experience. Beyond the film screening, the evening will also include live performers, interactive photo booths, DJs and installations.

Open the doorway to the “other side”, as you immerse yourself in the chilling world created by Steven Spielberg. A family’s home becomes the centre of paranormal activity with a story that will have all your hairs standing on end.

Enter the Haus if you dare—but beware, this one may follow you home and into your dreams.

Doors open at 8pm, giving you 1.5 hours to explore the event before the screening begins at 9.30pm.

This event is recommended for audiences over 15 years.
