Commencing in 2019 it became an instant Kiwi comedy classic and features Guy as a volunteer investigative journalist debunking small-town New Zealand mysteries. In three seasons, New Zealand Today has consistently won its primetime broadcast slot and is the only New Zealand YouTube content to make the top 10 most-watched channel list in NZ, also winning "Best Comedy" at the NZ Guild Awards.
