Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of May Gibbs when you join us for a delightful day at the Gumnut Fair.

May Gibbs magic comes to life as you meet and greet beloved characters, discover unique Christmas gifts, indulge in homemade slices, cakes and refreshing lemonade, and explore charming garden stalls. Savour the deliciousness of our signature Devonshire Tea and enjoy a sizzling sausage sizzle. Little ones will love the face painting and dress ups. Try your luck on the Prize Wheel and enter the Raffle for your chance to win fabulous prizes!

Dress to impress in your favourite May Gibbs or vintage 1920s attire – let’s make this a celebration to remember!

Entry to the fair is free, standard charges apply for those wishing to tour the house and experience its rich history.

This open day is not just a fantastic experience as a non for profit community run museum it’s also our biggest fundraiser of the year. We can’t wait to see you there! We truly hope you can join us but if you can’t make it, don’t worry – there are plenty of ways to support the vital work of the Nutcote Trust. Read on for more details!

If you can't make it to the fair, or don't live in Sydney, you can still support the museum fundraiser by making a donation to Nutcote. As a bonus all donations over $25 received between now and the fair will go in the draw to win a prize pack of items from our shop valued at $150. You earn one ticket for every $5 donated.
