Saturday 14 September from 9am to 10am
In this unique, hands-on experience, you will have the chance to get up close and personal with one of Carriageworks' beehives!
The session will start with an introduction about bees and the important role they play in the environment and food security. Then everyone will get suited-up and step into the apiary to see inside a real beehive and get to hold frames of bees and honey. We’ll finish with a honey tasting and Q&A with one of our expert beekeepers from Rooftop Bees.
The workshop is $75 + bf with places limited. Suitable for adults and children aged 12+.
