Let your soul free at a Rhythm is Life workshops and learn the beats of African dancing, Indian dancing or Latin American dancing at Matron Ruby Grant Park. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy food from a variety of outlets and music from Magdalena Mira.
You can try your hand at bonsai making, dance in the park to fabulous music or join amazing race with your pet. You’ll meet the quilting club, Cycling team and Bonsai Club of Green Square. Join us and win prizes, meet new neighbours and make friends.

Green Square library activities – 10.30am onwards
Where we all belong: Live installation, storytelling and music workshop – Green Square Library Amphitheatre, 11am to 12pm
Fast and the Furriest : Amazing Race Green Square, Race 1 at 11 am: Joynton Park, Race 2 at 12pm: Matron Ruby Grant Park
Rhythm is Life dance workshops – Matron Ruby Grant Park. You can choose tickets for an African rhythm workshop 11.30am to 12pm, an Indian rhythm workshop 1pm to 1.30pm or a Latin American rhythm workshop 2.30pm to 3pm.
Afro Brazilian drumming, dance and body percussion workshop – Tote Park 11am
Come fly a kite: Kite making and flying workshop – Joynton Park 12.30pm
Musica Viva: Music in my Suitcase – Studio 3, Level 1, Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre entry at 2.30pm for a 3pm start.
