Cost

Get ready for a whole lot of joie de vivre with the infectiously fun George Washingmachine and French fairy Phoebe.

They will swing their way through the cobbled streets of the Marais, encounter some french- inspired tunes and entice with sweet “violining” from the movie Chocolat.

Presented by Mini Musica, family-friendly morning music concerts for 0-6 year olds and their grown-ups. The performance length is approximately 40 minutes to suit young families. As a guide, you can expect a 30-minute themed concert followed by a 10-minute interactive, especially for our younger audience members. You’re always welcome to sit back and enjoy or get up and participate in a singalong of childhood favourites, dance a jig or flamenco – whatever is the flavour of the day!

Jazz violinist, vocalist, and visual artist. George is a living legend in the entertainment industry. He has worked in television, theatre & film. He finds the greatest pleasure though in travelling around Australia and various parts of the world playing music and making art.

Violinist Phoebe Haselden is a founding member of the Mimosa Duo. Phoebe studied with scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium in classical music. Since graduating in 2009 Phoebe has performed on the Opera House mainstage and toured both locally and internationally including France and New Zealand.
