Frogs are in trouble in Australia; we’ve already lost 4 of our 240 known native frog species and there are many more perched on the edge of extinction.
The Australian Museum is doing something about it with FrogID.
The FrogID app lets anyone with a smartphone help plot frog locations. This data is informing scientists about what is happening to Australia’s frogs.
Nadiah Roslan from the Australian Museum will discuss why frogs are important and what they’ve already learned from the data collected by citizen scientists.
What you will learn in this webinar:
what frogs call the city home
why frogs matter
what is FrogID and how it is informing conservation
how you can get involved.
