The first-ever Fresh Harvest Beer Week, a multi-day celebration of fresh, hoppy beers and the annual hop harvest will be taking over Frenchies from Monday 5th to Saturday 10th May!
A must-attend for beer lovers, the event will feature a wide range of hoppy beer experiences:
Limited release hoppy beers – Produced in collaboration with Bemboka-based hop growing farm, Ryefield Hops and Australia’s first co-operative brewery, Hopsters, The Cool Kids Vol. 34 – Ryefield WCIPA and Double Phresh IPA will be launching on Monday 5 May, both in the brewery and online, and they’ll form part of several events over the course of the week.
Hoppy food pairing – We’ll be whipping up a hop infused dish from Tuesday 6th to Saturday 10th, which has been designed to perfectly complement the Ryefield WCIPA and Double Phresh IPA. Guests can head down anytime to tuck into the dish and sip on a beer schooner for $49.
IPA tasting night – This complimentary experience will take over Frenchies from 6:30pm on Thursday 8 May and feature tastings of the Ryefield WCIPA, Double Phresh IPA, Cryo Nelson Hazy IPA, Giant Sequoia Dark IPA, No Flower West Coast IPA, Pale Ale and Hazy XPA, plus there will be a hoppy beer focused quiz with prizes up for grabs, and discounts on takeaways.
IPA tap takeover – The perfect way to round out the working week, Frenchies will be pouring the aforementioned IPAs from its taps from 12pm onwards on Friday 9 May.
Raclette night, the IPA way! – Will kick off at 7pm on Saturday 10 May and see guests receive their own raclettier for melting premium quality Swiss raclette cheese with, accompaniments including house smoked saucisson and cured chorizo, cooked potatoes and pickles, and a schooner of either the Ryefield IPA or Double Phresh IPA for $89 per person.
