Let's make some noise for Lunar New Year! Make your own rattle drum to take home in this free school holiday workshop.

Did you know the Chinese rattle drum, or "bo" is over 2000 years old? This vibrant toy, often adorned with colourful shapes and images like lanterns and wild animals, has been a staple in children's play and festive celebrations for centuries. The rattle drum is also said to chase away bad spirits and bring good luck.

Visit The Rocks Discovery Museum these school holidays to create a rattle drum to take home. 

Drop in any time between 11am to 1pm.
