Learn how to revive tired, damaged clothes from two adept clothes whisperers: mending master Erin Lewis-Fitzgerald and stain slayer Christina Reitano.
About Erin Lewis-Fitzgerald
Erin Lewis-Fitzgerald is Australia's leading clothes-mending practitioner, author of the book Modern Mending. Her mending has been displayed in art exhibitions in Melbourne and Adelaide and she now teaches mending internationally to an online audience. She is passionate about repair in all its forms; in 2014 she founded Bright Sparks, a social enterprise that repaired and reused electrical appliances, diverting more than 15 tonnes of e-waste from landfill.
About Christina Reitano
Christina Reitano, aka the stain slayer, is a lifelong opshopper who is dedicated to extending the useful life of our stuff. Christina holds postgraduate qualifications in Environment from The University of Melbourne and has worked as a volunteer for the Salvation Army and Fitted for Work. She teaches people tricks for cleaning, repairing and altering clothes through her insta handle @fashion.first.aid
