Weekends, 10am to 11:30pm Saturday 8 February to Sunday 9 February

Celebrate Fascinating Thaitown for a vibrant and cultural celebration as an associated event of the Sydney Lunar Festival.

Thaitown is commemorating the auspicious Year of the Snake with their authentic captivating performances including traditional dance and music, and cuisine.

Thai Traditional Dance Performance: Saturday 8th February 11.30 am

Thaitown will showcase our traditional dancing with a Thai Dancing Spectacular, a Thai dance performance in authentic costume. Be enchanted by Naga, a Thai serpent like creature from Thai mythology who will be performing with the dancers.

‍Long Drum Procession: Saturday 8th February 11.50am

After the dancing performances, join Thaitown in the rhythmic and energetic long drum procession parade around Thaitown. You'll feel the pulse of the drums and be part of this vibrant celebration and community, as they honour and welcome the Year of the Snake.

‍Year of the Snake Celebration Wall: 2 Days – 8th & 9th February 2025

Capture the perfect memory with your families and friends at the Thaitown artist mural on the 8th and 9th of February. Strike a pose in front of this original artwork by local artist Gabby Malpas who has taken a playful approach to the Year of the Snake by creating a Snake and Ladders Mural. The wall is located at the entrance of Thaitown next to Meriton Suite and Cosy Corner Cafe Bar & Grilled.

‍Culinary Delights:

Venture to Thaitown and embark on a culinary journey that will tantalize your taste buds with authentic Thai flavours, perfect for ushering in good luck and prosperity for the new year. From savoury dishes to symbolic ingredients, each dish has been designed not only to satisfy your cravings but also to bring positive energy for the year ahead.
