Taught by the amazing Natalie Popovski, students will explore classical techniques through a step-by-step process, starting with a sketch of a mandarin as their reference. They’ll learn how to scale their image, experiment with underpainting like the old masters, and get to grips with colour theory and mixing.
Oil paint can be slow to dry, but that’s part of the magic—we’ll guide students through techniques to avoid muddy colours and build up beautiful, vibrant layers.
