Welcome to Empathy Gym - 10 workshops over 5 weeks.
Empathy is what drives human connection and what the world needs more than ever. Book your place on this workshop series to build your empathy muscles, hold boundaries, support others and champion kindness. It's a superpower, but it takes training. We'll work together to:
- Understand what sets empathy apart from sympathy, kindness or compassion
- explore self-empathy and self-care
- develop presence and listening
- hold space and support each other
- get the empathy you need in return
Sessions Monday (7-8pm) and Friday (12-1pm) for five weeks. You are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you wish.
Every week is a new workshop with new learnings and exercises (Friday's workshop repeats the learnings/exercises of Monday's workshop so come to either, or both to reinforce your practice).
This event is a partnership with the super do-good community organisation GOOD FOR THE HOOD and will take place on Zoom with details to be emailed in advance.
