In partnership with the University of Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music, The Women’s Club presents the Emerging Women in Music which showcases 17 emerging musicians performing ten hours of music by Australian female composers across nine concerts. 

Kate Moloney holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance) Honours I from and is currently completing a Masters of Music Studies (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with world-acclaimed harpist Alice Giles AM. She has performed in masterclasses with international harpists, including Masumi Nagasawa (Japan), Heidi Lehwalder (USA) and Judy Loman (USA). 

Kate is the recipient of the ABC Classic and ABC Jazz Composer Commissioning Fund with emerging Australian composer Christine Pan, recording a work commissioned by Kate for solo harp with the ABC in 2022. In 2017 Kate won the Sutherland Shire & St George Youth Music Awards and had varied performance opportunities, including a solo performance on the Sydney Opera House stage. Kate has performed solo recitals at music clubs throughout Sydney, including St John’s Dee Why and St Francis of Assisi Paddington.
