Emerge presents: 'How to Make it in Scripted Animation'

When

Tuesday 16 May 2023 from 6:30pm to 10pm

This May, Emerge dives into the world of scripted animation. How does it get made in Australia? What are the local opportunities? How do you write for animation vs live action?

Find out all this and more at a panel talk and Q&A featuring Nina Oyama (writer on Koala Man, YOLO: Crystal Fantasy), Jake Duczynski (creator and director of Cooked!), Mike Greaney (creator of The Future of Everything, associate director of YOLO: Silver Destiny) and moderated by Alexei Toliopoulos (co-creator and host of Finding Yeezus, Finding Drago).

After the panel, a separate networking space will be opened for people to meet, discuss their projects and chat about potential collaborations. Animators, writers, sound designers, voice actors, producers, directors and visual artists can register your interest for networking.
