Prepare to be swept away by the power and precision of the Royal Australian Air Force Band as they deliver an evening of musical excellence that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Alarcón’s ‘Invocation’ will transport you to a world of passion and rhythm with a Spanish-themed composition brimming with vibrant melodies and evocative rhythms. From there, listeners will enjoy the lyrical beauty of Gillingham’s Euphonium Concerto, a piece that showcases the euphonium’s warm and expressive tones. The evening continues with Pham’s ‘A Meeting of Cars and Aeroplanes’, a work that captures the dynamic energy of both the automobile and the aircraft in an exhilarating musical experience.

To conclude our concert, we will present Symphony No. V, Elements, by Giroux, a magnificent love poem to Mother Nature herself. This symphony’s majestic and evocative score will sweep you away on a journey through the forces of nature, a fitting and grand finale to our evening.
