Easter in Nature 2023 - Callan Park

Easter in Australia - the weather is getting cooler, leaves are starting to turn colour, and the animals are preparing for the colder seasons.

This Easter Monday, we invite families to celebrate Australia's native plants and animals in this fun-filled and educational program for kids aged between 4 and 10 years. Together with parents, children will be introduced to our local flora and fauna through stories, nature based games, and art projects. 

Together with our experienced education team, children will roam through the park, follow trail maps, meet some of our wild inhabitants and connect with the natural world. 

This 1-hour program will open your kids’ eyes to the beautiful outdoors.

Session Times:

• 8:30am - 9:30am

• 9:45am - 10:45am

• 11:00am -12:00pm

• 12:30pm - SOLD OUT

• 1:45pm - SOLD OUT

• 3PM - SOLD OUT

Please note: This is not a traditional chocolate egg hunt. Hiding chocolate eggs in the park has an environmental impact on our flora and fauna.

Tickets include: 

• Participation for 1 child and 1 carer

• Storytime - Hear how the turtle found her lost egg and discover what you can do to protect our freshwater turtles.

• Native Australian Animal "Egg Hunt" - Help our Aussie egg-laying animals find their missing eggs. Follow the animal tracks and match the right egg with the animal.

• Hungry Goanna Game - Work together to sneakily save the eggs from being lunch before Goanna sees you!

• Craft time - Design your own Aussie animals with clay and loose parts!
