Across 2 shows in Sydney and Melbourne over one giant weekend, Dreamstate Australia 2023 promises the best of trance and techno with national and international talent taking to the stages for one of Australia’s first festivals of the summer season.
Dreamstate Australia 2023 will land in Sydney at the iconic Sydney Showground to mark the start of the weekend. The party will continue in Melbourne at the renowned Flemington Racecourse to round out 2 massive days of trance and techno energy.
Across two stages, some of the biggest names in trance, and the heaviest of techno heavyweights have been handpicked to join an epic line-up for a thumping showcase.
At the forefront of electronic dance music for over two decades, trance icons Above & Beyond are set to take the stage to showcase their catalogue of acclaimed releases, following an enviable list of sold-out shows worldwide. Trance aficionado and homegrown hero MaRLo will perform - forever leaving his mark on charts, dancefloors and music enthusiasts the world over.
Radiating pure passion, Northern Irishman Billy Gillies will bring his blend of quirky Eurodance synths, uplifting trance grandeur and hard-hitting bass rhythms to the stage, alongside Dutch exports Maddix, with his vivid fusion of techno, trance and main room; and Ruben De Ronde walking the trance, house and progressive line since 2005. Upping the ante, kings of psytrance Vini Vici bring their high-octane energy while English producer / DJ Ilan Bluestone pushes boundaries with his explosive, uplifting performances.
Delving into the diverse world of techno, Irish heavy-hitter blk. returns to the Australian stage following the release of his highly anticipated Middle Finger EP and a slew of performances throughout 2023; alongside French DJ / producer TRYM who returns to Australia cutting the boundaries between harddance and hardtrance for an unparalleled performance.
Swiss-born Lilly Palmer returns to Australia with her stylistic mix of powerful, energetic techno and melancholic, deep sounds, alongside the boundary-breaking curation of Spanish ‘entrepreneur girl’ Fatima Hajji, leading an innate symbiosis with the crowd. Australia’s tech-princess Laura King will take to the stage with her electric performance alongside and the hard and fast firepower of Space 82.
