Saturday 7 May from 12:30pm to 3:30pm Saturday 4 June from 12:30pm to 3:30pm
Join us for a series of unique and engaging music sessions at the Green Square music room.
Bring your own instrument, your voice, or borrow something from our musical instrument collection. We have acoustic and electric guitars, an electric bass, a baby grand piano and synths ready for use.
Whether you’re just beginning your songwriting journey, or you’ve got a few originals under your belt, these sessions will challenge you to build your creative skill set and find your own voice.
Both active in the Sydney local music scene, your friendly hosts Billy and Rubi will guide you through collaborative songwriting activities in a fun and relaxed environment. Some structure at the beginning will be followed by creative exploration together and the opportunity to share your creations with each other.
This activity is suitable for people aged 16 and over.
Places are limited. Bookings are essential.
Covid-safe information
The health and safety of everyone at City of Sydney venues is our top priority. If you plan to visit, you must be familiar with the procedures in place and follow Covid-safe rules during your visit. See our website for the most up-to-date entry requirements and what to expect when visiting.
The organisers will supply hand-sanitisers and PPE equipment and we highly recommend attendees make use of these between using different instruments. Bringing your own instrument is encouraged.
