Discover the inner workings of computer-generated imagery (CGI) and learn how to create digital 3D worlds in this workshop led by Studio Gilay.
After looking at CGI workflows across a range of professional projects, you’ll try your hand at painting 3D assets and texturing a 3D model before adding augmented reality functionality to your work. The final renders will be exported for you to keep.
World building expands on themes from the exhibition The End of Imagination by Adrián Villar Rojas, on display in the Tank at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
All materials are provided and no experience in programming is necessary. Best suited to ages 8 and over.
