After spending years abroad, master saxophonist Dale Barlow has returned to Sydney and teamed up with renowned drummer Andrew Dickeson. Their previous performances at Foundry616 have drawn packed crowds, and this next show promises to be even bigger!

Barlow has been a leading figure in Australian modern jazz, with an illustrious international career that includes collaborations with legends like Art Blakey, Cedar Walton, and Chet Baker. Andrew Dickeson, one of Australia’s most sought-after drummers and bandleaders, has worked with a “who’s who” of jazz greats, both locally and internationally.

Two of Australia’s finest musicians are joining them: Hugh Barrett on piano and Jacob Graham on bass. Together, the quartet will deliver an electrifying night of “Hard Bop,” a style rarely heard in Sydney. Expect to hear classic tunes from Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, Cedar Walton, timeless standards, and some stunning original music. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening!
