Built between 1868 and 1889, Sydney Town Hall has been the backdrop for the civic life of Sydney. Since then, it has welcomed visiting Royalty, Sydney’s newest citizens and been the stage for international performers and local school choirs.
When did you last visit Sydney Town Hall? We are opening our doors to show you some of the interesting features and details of its splendid architecture and decoration. Join City of Sydney staff to learn more about the history of this significant Sydney icon and some of the many ways it has been used for the enjoyment of the people of Sydney.
This is a free event open to all ages. We aim to present inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Natalya Shinn, programs coordinator on 02 9265 9333 or nshinn@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
