Bystander action against racism training

When

Wednesday 3 April 2024 from 9:30am to 2:30pm

Learn how to play an active role in building a safer community by taking action to prevent and respond to racism.

This free training presented in partnership with Sydney Community Forum will help you to develop racial literacy, empathy, and understanding of race-related issues and identities. You’ll build tools, skills and strategies for intervention in everyday life.

The 5-hour sessions covers:

·      how to be an active bystander or ally

·      scenarios 

·      self-care

The training is suitable for anyone who may witness racism in all its expressions and for professionals who want to build a strong and inclusive work culture.

Light refreshments provided. 

Registration is essential.

This workshop is part of City of Sydney social cohesion initiatives.
