Do you have plans on October 29th? Why not make your day spectacular by engaging in happiness, laughter, and entertainment at the Bourke Street Public School's bi-annual School Fete? This lively circus-themed event is the perfect way to spend your Sunday, offering all-day live music and a myriad of activities for people of all ages. But what can we all expect from this school fete? Let’s find out!

The Magic of the School Fete!

The school fete is not just about fun, but also about embracing the community spirit. From live circus performers, a mouth-watering sausage sizzle, a haunting house visit, face painting, and exclusive Bourke Street branded merchandise designed by the world-renowned Beck Feiner, there's something for everyone.

Hoping to get to the school early to grab that perfect pre-loved children's outfit or enjoy some fairy floss? Perhaps you're more interested in a slushie or picking up a new plant friend? There's a stall for every taste and interest at the fete!

 Talent Show with a VIP

Would you believe if I told you the talent show at the fete is going to be judged by none other than the Lord Mayor of Sydney? Yes, you heard that right! Our very own Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore! This year's talent show is sure to be an event to remember.

 Contributing to a Noble Cause

Apart from a great day of community spirit and fun, the Bourke Street P&C is also fundraising for a Sensory Garden. Imaginative play never had a better playground than this, interacting with natural elements to create a diverse landscape environment right at the school's front door.

The fete is also directed towards a noble cause. 10% of all fete profits will go directly to The Girls & Boys Brigade, Surry Hills, a place that provides support for over 150 boys and girls aged 5-18 years who often face significant life challenges.

Encouraging the Bourke Street Public School Spirit

The Bourke Street Public School fete embodies the school's spirit of unity, learning, and inclusivity. It stands as a testament to the school's excellence and its unfailing commitment to the growth and betterment of its students. Here’s to many more years of this exceptional tradition!
