Join Claire for a fun and interactive workshop during the school holidays where children will have the opportunity to become authors and illustrators! In this hands-on session, we’ll start with a read-aloud of one ofthe popular Don’t Let the Pigeon books by Mo Willems, engaging young minds with laughter, creativity, and storytelling.

After the read-aloud, students will be inspired to create their own books, starring their own unique pigeon characters and other imaginative creatures! They’ll write, illustrate, and design their very own stories, taking full ownership of their creations. This workshop empowers children to explore their imagination and express themselves through writing and art, while developing valuable storytelling and artistic skills.

All materials will be provided, and each participant will take home their very own self-made book at the end of the workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to build confidence in their creativity, collaborate with peers, and experience the joy of becoming published authors!
