Joining AJ will be: acclaimed writer and storyteller, Jack Gow; actor & musical comedian Ally Morgan; award-winning stand-up comedian Madeleine Stewart; and our headliner, the multidisciplinary performer & writer, Jared Jekyll.

So get ready for a fabulous, hilarious and damn right flirtatious night of comedy at Sydney’s only theatre that looks over famous Bondi Beach.

Bondi's Comedy Extravaganza is presented by Waverley Council as part of Pride Amplified.

Headliner - Jared Jekyll (They/Them)

With a BA in Music Theatre (which they barely use), award-winning Writer and Performer Jared Jekyll has done stuff.

They have been seen on TV as a comedian; actor and capitalist puppet: peddling everything from Fast Food and Pharmaceuticals, to Alcohol and Tech. They have been heard on Radio, as a personality and musical artist. One time they opened for late rap legend DMX.

Jared has supported international acts Tony Hinchcliffe, DJ Douggpound, Ari Shaffir & Tom Green both in Australia and in the USA.

They're pretty good and talented but perpetually on the edge of leaving the industry because their imposter syndrome has a god complex.

MC - AJ Lamarque (He/Him)

AJ Lamarque has a warm and endearing energy about him that instantly makes audiences feel comfortable. Combined with an equally engaging aptitude for comedy, AJ has garnered a formidable reputation as a skilled writer, a charismatic performer and a beloved name in the community.

Ally Morgan (She/Her)

Ally is an award-winning queer actor, writer, and musical comedian.

Dubbed "a younger Tim Minchin" by the Sydney Morning Herald, Ally's solo show 'Not Today' won Best Cabaret & Solo Show at Sydney Fringe Festival 2022. In 2021, Ally won Best Performance at Mardi Gras Film Fest for her leading role in the film 'Her Own Music'. Ally is also the co-creator of the forthcoming web series 'How To Be Queer', winner of the 2020 Melbourne Queer Film Festival's Pitch Pleez! Competition. Ally's musical rom-com series 'Girl Crush' was selected for 'Every Voice 2022' by Screen Australia and TikTok Australia, and will be released on TikTok in 2023.

Jack Gow (He/Him)

Jack Gow (he/him) is a comedian and writer. He has toured multiple critically-acclaimed solo shows around the country, is a two-time The Moth GrandSLAM finalist, and his stories have been featured on Radio National, FBi's All the Best, and the Story Club podcast. When not writing or performing, he is a Co-Director of the National Young Writers' Festival, a Producer on the ABC's award-winning podcast Innies + Outies, and helps run ABCQueer.

Madeleine Stewart (She/Her)

A funny gal with a sweet demeanour, veiling razor-sharp wit, Madeleine Stewart is a powerhouse who has worked alongside Adam Hills, Reuben Kaye and Rove McManus to name a few. She is currently touring her comedy special "So Brave" and line-up show "Are you pulling my Leg".
