The sun is shinning, the bees are buzzing, the plants are producing! The bondi community garden is in full swing this summer.
Come along to the monthly garden bee and share the love of gardening at Transition Bondi Community Garden Hub. The garden is a learning and community space, where people can come together each month to share skills, forge friendships, and learn about permaculture, composting, bees and much more! As a hub we offer support, community and encouragement so more people can grow their own food.
The program is:
Emptying compost bins (People recently use them more!!!)
Harvesting and planting
Weeding and thinning
Seed library and gardening literature
Community building
Stay connected, and try to garden either on small kitchen window, a balcony or in your street.
What to bring: Enclosed shoes, hat, water, sunscreen and gardening gloves (if you have them).
