La Fábrica de Microobios and Gente Perdida invite you to Federico García Lorca's timeless tragedy, Blood Wedding, directed by Guatemalan director Diana Paola Alvarado. Running from July 17 to August 3 at Flight Path Theatre, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville, this production promises an unforgettable evening of theatre.

About the Production:

Blood Wedding emerges in a captivating minimalist production, where the absence of elaborate sets reveals the core of Lorca's profound tragedy. Directed by Diana Paola Alvarado, who honours Lorca's legacy with her guiding principle, "It’s easy to make people think; hard to make people feel," the production accentuates the raw emotions of its characters. Alvarado's mastery of Lecoq pedagogy brings a unique depth to the performance, focusing on the essential elements of the narrative. This stripped-down approach invites audiences to form profound emotional connections with the characters, amplifying the timeless themes of love and fate.
