Blak Markets is returning to The Rocks for Mother’s Day this May. Brought to you by Indigenous Australian charity, First Hand Solutions Aboriginal Corporation, the Blak Markets Mother’s Day Market will open for one day only on Sunday 11  May  10am - 4pm at Dawes Point in The Rocks, right under the Harbour Bridge with views out over the water.

This special event offers Sydneysiders a chance to celebrate First Nations culture while discovering unique Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island cultural goods, with the knowledge that 100% of the profits are going back into their communities.

The Blak Markets will kick off with a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony at 10:30am and feature 20 local and regional NSW Indigenous Australian stalls with the aim of celebrating Indigenous makers, artists and small business owners. There will be free interactive weaving workshops (from 10:30am - 3:30pm), Dance Group performances and workshops for the kids.
