Bebi Zekirovski: The life in a refugee camp

When

Friday 23 June 2023 from 10am to 12pm

Join award winning Australian cinematographer and photographer Bebi Zekirovski to celebrate Refugee Week.

Bebi will share his stories and photos from his visit to Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh. Hear about the challenges and ambitions of the refugees he met who had fled a brutal crackdown in Myanmar.

Following the talk, you’ll have an opportunity to sample Rohingya traditional food.

Refugee Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the contributions which refugees bring to Australia. It's also a time when all Australians are encouraged to educate themselves about the issues that affect refugees, as well as listen to the stories of those seeking asylum.

Bookings essential.
