Tuesday 26 January from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
As the sun sets on our national day, the Australia Day Live concert is just getting started on the Sydney Opera House forecourt and broadcast nationally from 7.30pm AEDT on ABC TV and streamed on ABC iView.
Australia Day Live is a fitting finale to our national day, with unforgettable musical performances by top Aussie talent choreographed to spectacular fireworks displays, a flotilla of yachts and jet-skis.
In 2021, we take the time to acknowledge, celebrate and thank our heroic frontline workers for their tireless efforts. The NSW Government will invite frontline workers to attend. The broader community will be able to watch the spectacular live broadcast.
Since it began in 2016, Australia Day Live has become much more than an event or concert, it is a showcase of inspiring stories of new citizens, Aboriginal culture and history and a symbol of community unity. It is about a nation coming together to celebrate our Australian Spirit and our many great achievements.
Australia Day Live at Sydney Opera House is brought to you by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.
More information on ticketing changes, hosts and the performer line-up is coming in January 2021.
