Australia Day: Ferrython cruise

Since 1977, the Ferrython has been staged on Australia Day. In 2023, Sydney’s beloved ferries will be colourfully dressed in honour of their namesakes – May Gibbs, Catherine Hamlin, Victor Chang and Pemulwuy.

Cheer on your favourite ferry as they compete for honours in the race from Fort Denison, around Shark Island and back to the finish line under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
