When

Thursday 7 April 2022 from 12pm to 1pm

Come along to better understand vaccine boosters.

Our internationally renowned experts are ready to answer any questions you might have!

Our free Q&A sessions have been created especially for the non-scientific public who simply want reliable, accurate information. This is a great way for the public to cut through the chatter, ask their burning question, and receive a scientific, evidence-based answer in plain language.

To ask a question, simply type your question into the Q&A box during the webinar, or ask us ahead of time to jump the queue (visit the event registration page for how to ask us in advance).

Join us to hear A/Prof Margie Danchin and Dr. Kylie Shaddock.

Margie Danchinis a consultant paediatrician at the Royal Childrens Hospital and Clinician Scientist, University of Melbourne, and Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI). As leader of the Vaccine Uptake Group, MCRI, her research focuses on vaccine confidence and uptake, particularly amongst high risk-groups and in low and middle-income countries, and on effective risk communication.

She also hosts the highly engaging vaxFACTS.org.au website (be sure to check this out before our session).

Kylie Shaddock (nee Webster) is an academic within the Discipline of Infectious Diseases and Immunology and the Education Innovation Theme of the School of Medical Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She obtained a BSc (with Honours) from UNSW Sydney and a PhD in genetics and immunology from the University of Melbourne in 2005 for research conducted at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.
